Frank joined Smith Harrington from Lisney in 2009. He is responsible for the Professional Services Department of Smith Harrington. In this role his areas of practice include valuations for all purposes, investment acquisitions and disposals, planning and development consultancy, landlord and tenant consultancy and compulsory purchase order acquisitions and advice. He also retains an active role in the commercial and rural practice agency departments.

His clients range from state, semi state bodies together with private companies and individuals. These include Meath County Council, ESB, Bank of Ireland, KPMG, Grant Thornton, Albert Developments together with a variety of farmers and private individuals.

Frank holds a first class honours degree valuation surveying and a masters in planning and development surveying. He is a qualified Chartered General Practice Surveyor and member of both the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI) and Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (RICS). In addition he is a registered valuer regulated by the RICS.

He is the immediate past President of Navan Chamber of Commerce and remains a board member. He sits on the editorial board of the Surveyor’s Journal and the rural practice committee of the SCSI. He has contributed a number of articles published in the Surveyor’s Journal and Housing Journal. He is currently undertaking his professional doctorate in the University of Salford.

Helen joined Smith Harrington in 2004. She heads the Residential Letting and Management department of Smith Harrington. She specialises in residential property letting and management with key emphasis on delivering quality service to clients. She also retains an active role in the residential sales department.

Helen holds an honours degree in property studies, a diploma in auctioneering and estate agency, a FETAC certificate in Business Studies and is also an associate member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI).

Joan joined Smith Harrington from Lisney in 1987.   She is a fellow of the Chartered Surveyors Ireland with over 30 years of experience in property. Over the years she has worked in most departments within Smith Harrington.

Her current areas of responsibility include professional services, residential sales and customer service.

John joined Smith Harrington in 2008. He is responsible for the commercial and the residential sites departments of Smith Harrington. In this role his areas of practice include sales, lettings and management of retail, office and industrial units. He also retains an active role in the agricultural and professional service departments.

His clients range from state, semi state bodies together with private companies and individuals. These include Meath County Council, ESB, Grant Thornton, Baker Tilly Ryan Glennon, Albert Developments together with a variety of farmers and private individuals.

John holds a masters degree in real estate and a masters in professional design practice as well as an honors degree in graphic design.

John T Harrington experienced the great privilege of joining one of the longest established auctioneering firms in County Meath in 1970, one hundred years after its foundation. It was then ran by the highly respected auctioneers William Brendan Smith and Michael Smith.

John is the principal partner of the firm and manages the operation of the office.  He is responsible for the agricultural sales, lettings and estate management section of the firm. He also retains an active role in the professional services department.

He has conducted many of the major commercial, agricultural and residential property transactions in the area including the purchase of largest residential sale in Ireland of 2013.

His clients include Laurence McLoughlin Ltd., Meath County Council, New Boliden Tara Mines together with a range of commercial and agricultural clients.
John holds a degree in auctioneering and valuation. He was appointed a fellow of Irish Auctioneers and Valuers Institute in 1984 has since been honoured with a fellowship of the RICS and SCSI.

Judy joined Smith Harrington in 1999. She is our Residential sales manager with responsibility for the new and second hand homes division with extensive knowledge of the residential market in County Meath. Judy’s key emphasis is on delivering quality service and getting the best results for her clients. She has been responsible for strategically developing and managing the growth of our residential sales business in addition to providing overall advice on the residential property market.

Her clients range from state, semi state bodies together with private companies and individuals. These include ACC, Albert Developments, Bank of Ireland, KPMG, Lisney, McAleer & Rushe, Mcloughlin Construction, Meath County Council together with a variety of private individuals.

Judy also has experience in the residential lettings department. This experience allows Judy to provide her clients with a high level of advice from a sales and lettings perspective.

Judy holds a Diploma in Auctioneering, Valuation and Estate Agency from Dublin Institute of Technology and is an associate member of the Society of Chartered Surveyors Ireland (SCSI).

 


 

William P Smith

William P Smith succeeded his uncle Michael Smith as partner in 1980.  William has a lifetime of experience in farming and advises the firm on current agricultural trends.
